Computer Monitor Testcard (Version 1.2)

Testcard was a program originally designed by repair engineers for use by engineers having completed repairs on site, or on a workbench. However, it's use is much more widespread. Users would include computer repair centres, quality assurance personnel, graphic designers and just about anyone that cares about the quality of their monitor.

The program allows users to investigate the quality and performance of their computer monitor. With more people spending more time in front of computer monitors it is important to purchase a quality monitor that will provide crisp, bright images, while reducing the strain on your eyes. For the professional computer user, it provides a quick test to ensure that the monitor is still performing at it's highest specification on a day to day basis.

Testcard displays a series of images on the screen specifically designed to test for optimum visual performance. Each of 12 different test screens (over 100 modes in all) have been created to test a particular aspect of the monitors performance. As a monitor is often the most expensive part of a computer system, this type of testing is essential for the adjustment and selection of a quality monitor.

Testcard is capable of running under all Windows OS environments (see system requirements below) and will work at any standard resolution and colour depth supported by your monitor and graphics card.
