These terms and conditions of sale apply to goods supplied by SJS Television Services via sjstv.co.uk. The website is governed by the following terms and conditions.
Internal parts must be installed by a qualified engineer therefore, orders are treated as a business to business transaction. As such, we are not obliged to accept any returns or refund the cost of unwanted parts.
External accessories such as Remote Controls, Cables etc may be purchased by anybody and are covered by statutory UK law. See ‘Returns’ below.
Any order placed by you for goods advertised on our website is an offer by you to purchase the goods selected in your order. No contract exists between you and us for the sale of any goods until we have received your order and accepted it (which we may not do at our discretion). We will send you an order confirmation shortly after you place your order, notifying you that we have received your order. This acknowledgement is not notification that we have accepted your order.
The contract is formed when we despatch your order, you are notified via email of despatch of your order.
The contract is subject to your right of cancellation.
We reserve the right to refuse despatch of your order in the following circumstances:
- You have not paid, or the total amount of the order has not cleared.
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the products you have ordered.
- One or more of the products you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error.
If we do cancel your order you will be notified via e-mail or telephone and you will receive a full refund.
SJS Television Services reserve the right to change these terms of sale without notice to you in relation to future sales.
Our new and used parts are only intended to be fitted by qualified TV Engineers and we can not accept any responsibility whatsoever for loss, personal injury or further damage to the set that may occur by fitting our replacement parts.
All our parts are known to work when fitted and set up correctly. By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that a successful repair is dependent on your own skill and fault finding ability.
You may cancel your order up until the delivery date. Please quote the order number and the reason for cancelling your order. We will refund your charge/credit card minus original shipping costs if it has already been dispatched. There are no restocking fees on cancelled orders as long as the original packaging remains unopened.

Prices are correct for parts currently held in stock, but may be subject to alteration without further notice.
All sales have postage added at checkout.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Orders can only taken via this website. No order will be dispatched until we receive confirmation from CardSave that your credit/debit card transaction has been successful.
Existing Trade customers may order over the phone.
The Company reserves the right to sue any Debtor for full payment of all outstanding invoices. In such event the Buyer shall be responsible for legal costs in the preparation and completion of the Company's action for debt recovery.
On this site, specifications are, to the best of our knowledge correct. We do, however, reserve the right to alter them without notice if necessary.
Parts are usually sent within 24 hours when ordered within a standard UK working day. Delivery time is dependant on the delivery method chosen at checkout.
Free 2nd Class Delivery orders may mean a delay in dispatch depending on order levels and same day dispatch is not guaranteed.
We will endeavour to inform you of the expected delivery date or any problems that may occur, however, we can not be held responsible for delays which are outside of our control. This includes any liability for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem caused as a result of a delayed or unscheduled delivery and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation.
Selecting "Next Working Day before 1pm. UK Only" only applies for deliveries Monday to Friday. Orders taken on a Friday only guarantees delivery on the following Post Office working day.
Company and UK Public holidays will delay dispatch until the next working day.
Last order time for same day dispatch is usually 3:00 PM UK time, Monday - Friday but this is not guaranteed.
Overseas sales: We are not liable for any delays which may occur in the destination country. Any import duties or additional local charges that may be due on European orders must be paid by the buyer.
Our parts are only guaranteed not to be DOA (Dead On Arrival) even then, conditions apply.
However, we always take every case on it’s merit. If you have a problem with one of our parts within 30 days, then please contact us and ask to speak to one of our engineers.
Before we can accept any return, we must be notified by email or telephone within 14 days of order date. We will need your Invoice Number to be able to process your refund.
If we have authorised a return then fill in the details on the invoice and return it along with the part within 14 days.
If an error has occurred on our part, is damaged in transit or proven to be DOA (Dead On Arrival) we will replace the item if possible or the cost of the item and postage will be refunded in full. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to request that the part is returned to us prior to any refund.
Internal parts must be installed by a professional engineer therefore, orders are treated as a business to business transaction. As such, we are not obliged by UK law to accept any returns or refund the cost of unwanted parts. However, we may accept returns under certain conditions at our discretion. If we agree that a part may be returned then there will be a restocking charge to cover our costs.
Unused external accessories such as cables, adaptors, connectors etc may be returned within 14 working days of receipt of the item. Return requests submitted 14 days after receipt of the item are outside of the remit of The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and therefore the acceptance of your return request is wholly at our discretion.
Handling and postage/delivery charges for any returned items to us are not refundable unless agreed by us.
Returned items are subject to a restocking charge to cover our costs.
Any item which is returned to us marked, defaced or damaged will incur a re-stocking charge up to 100%. Returned items will be subject to inspection and/or testing for these reasons.
Claims for short delivery or damage must be made within FIVE working days from receipt.
PLEASE NOTE: All our parts are security coded and/or serial numbers recorded.
